[11 - 11] I'm Kelly sandy with epicurious.com and
[11 - 13] this is how to chop to chop you want to
[13 - 15] first make sure that you have a proper
[15 - 16] grip on the knife because I have a
[16 - 18] larger carrot I'm going to cut it in
[18 - 21] half so that it's easier to handle next
[21 - 22] I'm going to cut the carrot so that
[22 - 24] there's a flat side sitting against the
[24 - 26] cutting board this way it won't roll
[26 - 29] around after I've cut the carrots and
[29 - 30] quarters I'm ready to cut them again
[30 - 33] lengthwise chopping just refers to
[33 - 35] cutting your food up into smaller pieces
[35 - 36] and they don't necessarily have to be
[36 - 38] the same size so since I've cut these
[38 - 40] carrots lengthwise and then going to
[40 - 43] rotate them so I can cut them into cubes
[43 - 48] and there you have it that's how to chop
