[2 - 2] hey everybody it's lisa from atk
[2 - 5] gearheads recently we did a video about
[5 - 7] air fryers versus airfryer toaster ovens
[7 - 9] and i made a cheesecake in our winning
[9 - 13] air fryer this cheesecake is so easy and
[13 - 15] so good and takes just about an hour and
[15 - 18] i have made our wonderful recipe for
[18 - 20] foolproof new york style cheesecake it
[20 - 22] takes about 12 hours it's totally worth
[22 - 24] it it's perfect but let me tell you do
[24 - 26] it in an hour and it's pretty darn close
[26 - 28] in an air fryer
[28 - 31] this is the greatest thing ever so we
[31 - 32] gotta look at that cheesecake in the
[32 - 34] video but let me show you how i make it
[34 - 35] first thing you need to know is you're
[36 - 38] gonna need a six inch springform pan
[38 - 40] because that's what fits in the airfryer
[40 - 42] i pulsed six whole graham crackers
[42 - 44] broken into one inch pieces in the food
[44 - 46] processor until they were fine crumbs
[46 - 48] and that took about 20 pulses i added
[48 - 50] three tablespoons of unsalted butter
[50 - 53] that i melted and cooled a tablespoon of
[53 - 55] sugar a half teaspoon of ground cinnamon
[55 - 57] and a pinch of salt and a pulse to
[57 - 60] combine them about four pulses i
[60 - 62] sprinkled those crumbs into the six inch
[62 - 64] spring form pan and i pressed them into
[64 - 66] an even layer once you have that crumb
[66 - 67] layer in the bottom of the pan you put
[67 - 69] it in your airfryer basket you put the
[69 - 71] basket into the airfryer set the
[71 - 73] temperature to 350 degrees and cook
[73 - 75] until the crust sets and turns a nice
[75 - 77] light golden brown and takes about two
[77 - 80] to four minutes set that aside to cool
[80 - 82] on a wire rack while you make the
[83 - 84] filling now you're just going to wipe out that
[84 - 86] now you're just going to wipe out that food processor bowl and you're going to
[86 - 89] process 18 ounces of softened cream
[89 - 92] cheese it's basically two whole packages
[92 - 93] of cream cheese plus two ounces from a
[94 - 96] third and you're going to put in some
[96 - 99] vanilla a teaspoon of vanilla extract
[99 - 101] two-thirds cup sugar and one-quarter
[101 - 103] teaspoon salt and you're going to put
[103 - 105] that in the food processor and just wear
[105 - 108] it till it's combined about 15 seconds
[108 - 109] you scrape down the sides of the bowl as
[110 - 112] needed then i added a quarter cup of
[112 - 115] sour cream and two large eggs that were
[115 - 117] at room temperature and processed just
[117 - 119] until they're incorporated only about 15
[119 - 121] seconds don't over mix this
[121 - 123] pour the filling over the crust in the
[123 - 126] pan smooth the top out and then cover
[126 - 128] the pan with aluminum foil put that
[128 - 130] whole pan in the airfryer basket put the
[130 - 132] basket in the airfryer set the
[132 - 134] temperature 300 degrees and cook it
[134 - 136] until tiny bubbles form and the edges
[136 - 139] start to set which is 30 to 35 minutes
[139 - 141] then you're going to take that foil off
[141 - 143] and continue to cook until the top is
[143 - 146] golden brown the edges begin to crack
[146 - 147] and the center of the cake is just a
[147 - 149] little bit wobbly when you shake it
[149 - 152] another 15 to 20 minutes turn off the
[152 - 154] airfryer and leave that cake in the
[154 - 157] basket closed up for 30 minutes so it
[158 - 159] will continue to cook even though the
[159 - 161] airfryer is off then you're just going
[161 - 163] to take that pan out put it on a wire
[163 - 165] rack and then let the cheesecake cool
[165 - 168] completely in the pan about an hour
[168 - 169] cover it with plastic wrap and
[169 - 171] refrigerate it to well chilled at least
[171 - 173] three hours you can let it stand at room
[173 - 175] temperature for about 30 minutes and
[175 - 177] then cut into wedges and serve so that's
[178 - 179] all you have to do you can chill it for
[179 - 181] up to three days or you know if you made
[181 - 183] this cheesecake just for yourself and
[184 - 186] you want it all to yourself wrap it in
[186 - 187] plastic wrap after it's fully chilled
[187 - 189] and put it in the freezer you can cut
[189 - 192] slices off it and eat them cold still
[192 - 194] frozen or they defrost in a couple
[194 - 197] minutes and you got cheesecake for days
[197 - 198] don't tell anyone it's in there and it's
[198 - 200] all yours so that's my secret there's
