[3 - 3] hello hello everybody as summer aka
[3 - 6] swimsuit season is fast approaching I
[6 - 9] want to address the fact that despite my
[9 - 11] desire to look great in a bathing suit
[11 - 14] my appetite for sweets it's not
[14 - 18] suppressed also it does not hope that
[18 - 20] the ice cream truck is constantly going
[20 - 23] around the block torturing me with its
[23 - 26] sirens calling for ice cream well today
[26 - 28] I'm going to show you two four
[28 - 31] ingredient healthy desserts we're making
[31 - 34] brownies and ice cream and yes I said
[34 - 37] the dessert was healthy it's gonna make
[37 - 38] you question everything in life and why
[39 - 40] you ever wasted a thousand calories on a
[40 - 47] brownie let's get started
[56 - 56] our partner in the kitchen today is
[56 - 59] going to be our processor blender
[59 - 62] nutribullet wherever you got that blends
[62 - 64] things together this is going to help us
[64 - 66] transform simple ingredients into
[66 - 68] delectable desserts
[68 - 70] okay so we're first gonna get started
[70 - 75] with sweet potato fudgy brownies yes I
[75 - 78] said sweet potato in my humble opinion
[78 - 81] it is the superior potato and after you
[81 - 83] have this dessert I think you will agree
[83 - 85] with me also we are going to start by
[85 - 89] adding in 1 cup of nut butter this could
[89 - 91] be any nut butter almond peanut butter
[91 - 94] cashew macadamia whatever you buy what
[94 - 96] I'm using today is from Trader Joe's and
[96 - 99] it's a mixed nut butter so it's a blend
[99 - 102] of almond cashew walnut Brazil hazelnut
[102 - 104] and pecan it's a little bit of
[104 - 107] everything and a neutral flavor so
[107 - 108] you're not getting one specific nut
[108 - 110] flavor I think it works well in this
[110 - 112] recipe but again whichever nut butter
[112 - 115] you like that's what you got to use -
[115 - 117] the nut butter I'm adding in 1/2 a cup
[117 - 120] of unsweetened cocoa powder this is when
[120 - 122] we're getting that nice chocolate flavor
[122 - 124] and we're also adding in 1/2 a cup of
[124 - 127] maple syrup you can add in agave if
[127 - 130] you'd like that or honey just any liquid
[131 - 133] thin sweetener now we're going to give this a
[133 - 145] sweetener now we're going to give this a few pulses until it comes together at
[145 - 147] this time we're gonna take a little
[147 - 149] pausing taste test because I want to
[149 - 151] show you how awesome it's already coming
[151 - 153] you could technically even stop here if
[153 - 155] you wanted if you were looking for more
[155 - 156] of an edible cookie dough and you
[156 - 157] wouldn't even have to bake it in the
[157 - 160] oven it's got a really awesome
[160 - 163] consistency it's a super fudgy and
[163 - 166] doughy oh my goodness I remember the
[166 - 168] first time I made this half of it was
[168 - 170] gone before like I even put it in the
[170 - 172] oven because it's just so good like this
[172 - 175] the next thing we're going to add is two
[175 - 177] cups of mashed potato a sweet potato
[177 - 180] about this size boils and then mashed up
[180 - 182] is what got me to that and if you don't
[182 - 184] know how to boil sweet potato just stab
[184 - 186] it with a fork put it in boiling water
[186 - 189] for like 15 to 20 minutes there you go
[189 - 192] so let's add the sweet potato and mix it
[192 - 200] all together
[206 - 206] now this last step is totally optional
[206 - 209] I'm a huge fan of chocolate chips so I'm
[209 - 210] gonna add in a little bit of mini
[210 - 212] chocolate chips right into the batter
[212 - 217] and pulsing that around now we're going
[217 - 218] to grease our pan now you can grease
[218 - 220] this with a spray if you have I'm gonna
[221 - 222] try something I actually saw in like tic
[222 - 224] toc or Instagram so you just put some
[224 - 226] butter and a little bit of cocoa powder
[227 - 230] and blend that and use a paper towel to
[230 - 232] incorporate that and just butter the
[233 - 235] entire pan this is going to make sure
[235 - 236] that our brownie comes out really easy
[236 - 246] and doesn't get stuck to a pan
[249 - 249] now we'll transfer our brownie batter
[249 - 250] right into the pan
[250 - 252] and we're gonna bake it in the oven at
[252 - 256] 350 for about 30 to 40 minutes
[256 - 259] finally some chocolate chips right on
[259 - 261] top and the best part about this batter
[261 - 265] is that it's all edible there's no raw
[265 - 267] eggs there's nothing that can get you
[267 - 269] sick so so make sure you scrape that
[269 - 271] bowl or head it to somebody that low is
[271 - 274] probably better
[277 - 277] while the brownie bakes we are going to
[277 - 279] make some nice cream why is it nice
[279 - 282] cream instead of ice cream because it
[282 - 284] does not have the cream or sugar that
[284 - 286] love to layer on my hips after I eat it
[286 - 291] so the star ingredient is frozen bananas
[291 - 294] once you blend them or food process them
[294 - 296] or nutribullet them they get an
[296 - 298] incredible texture that's going to
[298 - 300] emulate that ice for the sensation in
[300 - 303] your mouth I sliced and froze three
[303 - 305] medium small bananas and I'm going to
[305 - 307] add that first into the food processor
[307 - 310] the next thing that's mandatory for this
[310 - 312] is some sort of liquid you can use milk
[312 - 314] can use oat milk use almond milk
[314 - 316] whatever your choosing
[316 - 318] I like to make sure it's unsweetened
[318 - 320] because I find the bananas to already be
[320 - 323] nice and sweet now as far as the liquid
[323 - 324] ingredients go I don't want to start
[324 - 326] slow with it and then keep going because
[326 - 328] you don't want to add too much liquid
[328 - 330] where it becomes a smoothie instead of
[330 - 332] your ice cream I'm also going to be
[332 - 333] adding some peanut butter and chocolate
[333 - 336] chips and there's a slew of other ideas
[336 - 338] that you can have the possibilities are
[340 - 345] endless [Music]
[345 - 347] [Music] if you like soft-serve consistency ice
[347 - 350] cream we're all done you can have it
[350 - 352] just like that typically that's how I
[352 - 352] like it
[352 - 355] but today since my brownies aren't done
[355 - 357] yet and I don't want it to melt in the
[357 - 359] meantime I'm gonna transfer it into a
[359 - 361] parchment lined baking sheet I'm using a
[361 - 364] loaf pan anything you have and put it in
[364 - 365] the freezer to get it a little bit hard
[365 - 380] [Music]
[397 - 397] now it's time to give this a taste I'm
[397 - 398] gonna get a little bit of the ice cream
[398 - 400] and the brownie all together
[400 - 411] I do not taste the sweet potato at all
[411 - 413] obviously I'm tasting the banana but in
[413 - 416] a great way the ice creams probably my
[416 - 418] favorite it has such a great consistency
[418 - 421] the brownie itself is less sweet than a
[421 - 423] traditional brownie put in a good way
[423 - 426] you know it's a healthier brownie it's
[426 - 428] it's ultra fudgy and with the bite of
[428 - 430] the nice cream and the brian together
[430 - 433] i'm in heaven it's really all I need for
[433 - 435] the summer let's be honest though here
[435 - 438] this is not a triple chocolate meltdown
[438 - 440] from Applebee's with little ice cream
[440 - 442] that's what you're looking for it's not
[442 - 445] necessarily it but if you have a sweet
[445 - 447] tooth and you're also not trying to get
[447 - 450] all those calories this is the perfect
[450 - 452] substitute can't guarantee that if you
[452 - 454] eat this you'll get a teeny body but
[454 - 455] you'll definitely be AB in a better
[455 - 457] shape than if you were having both that
[457 - 459] ice cream and a regular bracket well
[459 - 461] that's it for this week guys if you guys
[461 - 462] enjoy the video please give it a like
[462 - 465] and please keep sending me all the
[465 - 467] pictures of my recreated dishes from you
[467 - 469] guys I absolutely love it you have to
[469 - 471] try these guilt-free desserts they are
[471 - 474] really worth it and also don't forget to
[476 - 493] subscribe [Music]
