[2 - 4] how to make thick and quick
[4 - 14] acai bowls so what I like about acai
[14 - 16] bowls over smoothies is that when you
[16 - 17] make a smoothie and you're drinking with
[17 - 19] the straw or just drinking up with a cup
[19 - 21] you're not really getting satisfied and
[21 - 24] you know how to make a good thick acai
[24 - 26] bowl you eat it with the spoon and it's
[26 - 28] nourishing and it feels like a meal
[28 - 30] replacement and it's also totally
[30 - 32] customizable so you can put whatever it
[32 - 34] is you want in it or on top of it making
[34 - 36] it super fun and super creative
[36 - 38] the first main ingredient that we need
[38 - 40] for this is going to be a frozen acai
[40 - 43] packet you can get them from Trader
[43 - 45] Joe's like me where I got an unsweetened
[45 - 47] one because personally I don't like
[47 - 49] things too sweet and I like to moderate
[49 - 51] how sweet it is or else you can also
[51 - 53] find ones that are already sweetened and
[53 - 56] other brands but this is the vain base
[56 - 58] for the acai bowl in addition to the
[58 - 61] acai bowl packet I'm gonna be adding my
[61 - 64] key ingredient for making it super thick
[64 - 66] and that's additional frozen fruit so
[66 - 68] what I have here is some frozen banana
[68 - 71] and some frozen berry medley so that is
[71 - 74] gonna be our key on top of that I'm also
[74 - 75] gonna be adding a little bit of protein
[75 - 77] powder just giving it a little bit more
[77 - 80] of replenish and nutritional value for
[80 - 83] your body and our mixer that I'm using
[83 - 85] today is going to be oat milk I'm in
[85 - 88] boat milk fan but you can use apple
[88 - 90] juice almond milk cashew milk regular
[90 - 92] milk water whatever it is that resonates
[92 - 95] with you for me it's oat milk today now
[95 - 96] I'm gonna add all the ingredients into
[96 - 97] my Magic Bullet
[97 - 99] I love the Magic Bullet because super
[99 - 102] easy to use and super portable you can
[102 - 104] just take the top off and either take it
[104 - 106] like this or they have other cups that
[106 - 107] you can take on the go with you super
[107 - 109] functional for the college student on
[109 - 112] the go first let's get the acai bowl
[112 - 120] pack it in there let's add in the rest
[120 - 126] of our frozen fruit one scoop of protein
[126 - 129] powder and to top it off a little bit of
[129 - 132] both so rule of thumb with adding the
[132 - 134] liquid is if you're trying to keep it
[134 - 136] super thick add a little bit at a time
[136 - 138] you can always add more but it's more
[138 - 139] annoying when you have to add more fruit
[139 - 141] to get it back to the thicker
[141 - 143] consistency so just start little by
[143 - 148] little time to blend being that we're
[148 - 150] trying to keep it thick it could take a
[150 - 152] while but patience is what's going to
[152 - 158] get you the perfect consistency and also
[158 - 169] a lot of blending some cases you might
[169 - 181] need a little bit o milk eventually the
[181 - 183] acai mix will get to the perfect
[183 - 184] consistency and that's what you want to
[184 - 186] transfer it from the Magic Bullet to
[186 - 187] your bowl make sure you do this fast
[187 - 189] though because the longer you wait it'll
[189 - 191] start to melt and it'll go from a thick
[191 - 195] Bowl to a pimple really fast
[195 - 208] that oh it's like ice cream delicious
[211 - 211] the bananas chocolate protein powder
[211 - 213] make it the perfect amount of sweetness
[213 - 215] so even though there's no real sweetener
[215 - 218] it's delicious I just sliced some
[218 - 220] strawberries and bananas because I love
[220 - 222] those on top of my acai bowls also
[222 - 224] adding some black seeds chocolate chips
[224 - 227] peanut butter and granola but like I
[227 - 228] said before the beauty of these bowls
[228 - 230] are that you can add whatever you like
[230 - 258] on top of them completely customizable
[261 - 261] little drizzle of agave right over the
[262 - 266] top I love agave it's a super healthy
[266 - 268] I love agave it's a super healthy alternative to honey or other sweeteners
[268 - 270] I kind of like the burnt flavor ish
[270 - 273] that's but definitely give it a try let
