Press the parchment into the corners to create a sling.
Lay out all your ingredients for the brownie batter.
Chop chocolate into different sizes for sprinkling on top later.
Set the chopped chocolate aside.
Sift the flour and cocoa powder.
Add salt, baking powder, and instant coffee powder to the sifted ingredients.
Push the dry mixture through the sifter into a bowl.
Mix white sugar and brown sugar together.
Add vegetable oil and melted butter to the sugars.
Add vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
Beat in four eggs.
Whisk the wet ingredients until fully combined.
Switch to a rubber spatula.
Combine the dry and wet ingredients until just smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle chopped chocolate on top evenly.
Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 20 minutes.
Look for a slight wiggle in the center; remove from oven.
Test with a toothpick; it should come out a little dirty, not liquidy.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting.
Loosen the brownies from the sides and lift them out of the pan using the parchment sling.
